Short samples useful to add transient accenting to sounds, can be layered with other samples, can be used to make drum samples, basses, organic keys, or stretched, reversed, sliced to create even more complex snippets.
I'm trying hard to learn/understand nlc genie. Bought the module 3rd hand. . . At least. Some techno-like sounds. Genie and drum sound are modulated by nlc jerkoff. Genie is modulating vco and vcf.
Sheet music based on mystic and ambient tones. From these came the ambient sound installation vision. Sfx conversion edited: adobe + fxs + mastered. Sound and loops https://freesound. Org/people/szegvari/. Musichttps://soundcloud. Com/user-174290723.

I got the zynaddsubfx-patch from a member of the audio4linux. De-community, named zettberlin. Sounds great, so i have to record and publish it. Processed with the "fast lookahead limiter" ladspa-plugin.
A "mockup" of footstep sounds, made by "drumming" with my fingers and nails on a cardboard box. Recorded with one of those sheap computer headset microphones, edited in audacity to remove the undesired parts. It sounds a bit like footsteps on a wooden floor.
A one minute sample that can be used as an ambient backround sound. A lot of hits, noise and a some other sounds. I made this sample in fl studio 12. Was recorded with "hd webcam c310".
This sound is part of a series and was originally a recorded finger snap. Recording gear:- 2 x behringer c2 small diaphragm condenser microphones with cardioid polar pattern- focusrite scarlett 2i4 audio interfacesoftware:- sound forge pro.
Guiro sound made of rim shot sound in behringer rd-8 with built-in high pass filter and retrigger with accent. Recorded with zoom h1 at 96khz and 24bits. Filtered of low range noise, tirmmed and normalized in edison in flstudio. Editing made sample 32-bit.
This is the original 8-second drum loop that i ran through akaizer for my "sci-fi ambient drone" upload. It's creative commons cc0, so please treat it as public domain. You can use it in any commercial or non-commercial media for free, no restrictions. I took a quick 8-second drum loop from my teenage engineering po-33 (ko) and ran it through a free time-stretching/pitch-shifting program called akaizer. This program is based on old samplers like the akai s1000 that had extremely artifact-heavy time-stretching and pitch-shifting features. If you slow a sound down enough, the final product tends to sound harsh and electric. Akaizer turned my 8-second drum loop into 2 minutes and 38 seconds of harsh, bassy noise. As you can hear from my other uploads, the results are so different it's almost unrecognizable. Definitely worth trying yourself!.
Quick bass shot i did with serum and izotope trash 2 and thats all i remember. This sound is in open domain, use it freely without need for retribution or credit.
The first little practice loop i made in fl. Feel free to use or not use, whatever works. If by some small chance you do play with it, let me know how it sounds!.
Dug up from an old project. Korg monotribe groovebox processed by a doepfer a-189-1 bit modifier, a lowpass- and a highpass-filter. Recorded using ni maschine. 11. 10. 2013. It's always nice to hear what projects you use these sounds for. Let me know. ;-).
Some raw one-shots from my doepfer a-100 modular synthesizer recorded and edited using ni maschine. In my ears they sound way better with a bit of compression, but i thought the unprocessed files would be more useful. Naming is super vague. Recorded back in may 2014. It's always nice to hear what projects you use these sounds for. Let me know.
Using an inflated toy balloon in a bath full of water to create some interesting sounds. The balloon hitting the top of the water almost sounds like a drum, and my fingers on the wet rubber could be useful in a cartoony squash and stretch capacity. Recorded on a tascam dr-05.
Crowd sounds during the annual arrival of the three kings in seville, spain. You can hear a little boy complaining that he's not getting any candy in spanish. You can also hear some other people talking and the sound of drums in the background.
A bassy, wobbly sound effect that can be used for sci-fi weapons and such, created by overlapping pitch-shifted bass synthesizers and adding distortion and drums.
Whatamidoing is an experiment i did where i tried to run a drum machine through a multiosc synth, switching presets on the synth to change the sound. While it offered me brief entertainment, there's not much i have done with these sounds. Perhaps they will serve you better than i.
It's this sound:http://www. Freesound. Org/people/unfa/sounds/217455/. . . . Pitched down with audacity and truncated. I also made a fade-in and fade-out to ensure no clicks will occur. The preview doesn't sound right (artifacts, distortion), download it to hear the real thing. Also - it's very low frequecy, so use headphones or a woofer, or you might miss it :).
A very re-samplable bit of digital glitching made using aphex twin's samplebrain app with some of my own drum samples as the input. Feel free to use for anything (but i'd love to see what you make with it!).
A hip-hop/rap loop made in fl studio. You can use my sounds freely. It would be great if you credit me. Leave a comment and tell me for which project you used it. Daniel lucas, danlucaz. 2020.

Inspired by a discussion on the ambient online forum:https://www. Ambientonline. Org/forum/ambient/sound-design/92341-how-to-synthesize-drum-sounds. Used the subtractor synth from reason. Please refer to the pack description for a full list of the sounds synthesized. Ao_subtractor_kickdrum_2_3as previous, but pitch env decay =12.
A catholic procession during easter week in 2010 in cuenca, spain. People marching, sticks hitting the ground, some random voices, de-phased drums in the background. Suddenly all the sticks are dropped on the ground, a fantastic sound.
Multiple wooden board hits with varied pitches layered together. I'll be using this sound as a feedback sound for a button press in my game, how about you?. This sound was editted in audacity using the raw recording of fellow freesound user "alec_mckay"! this sound was released under the cc0 public domain license, feel free to use this sound however you want with or without attribution!. Cool and jazzy music bed loop for radio stations and podcasts. This sound was made using cubase, with some samplers of a 70's drum machine and a classical upright bass.
Here was my attempt to simulate the kicks used by hip hop producer don cannon. Fully synthesized, no samples here. But, as stated in the title, i did gate the sound in order to get more attack.
Pitched this percussion line down suuuuper low and got this very mechanical thumping sound. Then i messed around with doing rapid firings of the transients.
Jazz big band warmup before a gig. Trumpets, reeds, drums, create the typical cacophony of sound before the show. Recorded using a decca tree microphone setup. Zoom h4n, 48khz, 26 bit.
